Complaints & lost property

Reporting a problem with a ride, disputing an amount, or recovering something left in a vehicle.

Lost property

Act fast. A vehicle moves from ride to ride: the later the report, the more likely the item has been moved.

  1. Email support@valtransfer.ch, subject "Lost property".
  2. Give the date, time, pickup address and phone number from the booking — that is what lets us find the ride and the vehicle.
  3. Describe the item as precisely as you can.

We pass this to the partner company, which asks its driver. Return is then arranged directly between you and the company: it holds the item, not ValTransfer.

[TO COMPLETE: how long partner companies keep found items, and any return or postage fees.]

Complaint about a ride

Delays, route taken, vehicle cleanliness, driver conduct: write to us with the same ride identifying details. We forward it to the partner company and follow the case to closure.

Disputing an amount

The price is firm and shown before booking: a gap between the quoted price and the amount charged is an anomaly and should be reported to us.

If the ride did not take place and was nonetheless charged, the refund covers the full amount, including the ValTransfer commission.

Serious incident

Safety

In an emergency during a ride, call 117 (police) or 144 (ambulance). Report the incident to us afterwards: we inform the partner company, which answers for its driver's conduct.

If our answer does not satisfy you

[TO COMPLETE: available recourse — mediation, cantonal conciliation body, or competent court. To be settled with legal counsel.]
